U.S. stocks traded lower midway through trading, with the Nasdaq Composite falling around 200 points on Wednesday.

The Dow traded down 0.77% to 52,380.01 while the NASDAQ dipped 0.81% to 26,208.49. The S&P 500 also fell, dropping, 0.58% to 7,629.43.

Leading and Lagging Sectors

Energy shares jumped by 1% on Wednesday.

In trading on Wednesday, consumer discretionary stocks fell by 1.6%.
