U.S. stocks traded higher midway through trading, with the Dow Jones gaining more than 150 points on Wednesday.
The Dow traded up 0.32% to 52,675.73 while the NASDAQ rose 0.13% to 26,139.93.
The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.22% to 7,560.24.
Leading and Lagging Sectors Consumer discretionary shares jumped by 1.2% on Wednesday.
In trading on Wednesday, energy stocks fell by 0.5%.
