The Telangana Legislative Council Ethics Committee met on Wednesday to examine the action to be taken against BRS MLCs Tata Madhu and Naveen Kumar Reddy in connection with the alleged derogatory remarks made against Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar.The meeting, chaired by Council Ethics Committee Chairman and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, was attended by the Committee members N. Satyam, Deshapathi Srinivas and others. Council Secretary Narsimhacharyulu, Deputy Secretary Upender Reddy and other senior officials attended the meeting.The committee considered the relevant Assembly resolutions, member complaints, and the Council Chairman's directions and observations on the issue.Mr. Mahesh Kumar Goud directed officials to conduct a comprehensive, detailed examination of all relevant aspects before recommending further action against the two BRS legislators. He asked the officials to study the material available with the Council and examine the issue in depth.Mr. Goud instructed officials to submit a comprehensive report before the next meeting of the Ethics Committee.
