From Party Rings and Jammy Dodgers to Fruit Winders and a Freddo you swear used to be bigger, these throwback treats don’t just hit the sweet spot – they bring back the moments that came with them.‌Seabrook Crisps are one of the snacks that transports us to our childhoods. The brand was first founded in 1945 and became a staple in British households in the decades after. It was the first to introduce crinkle cut varieties and Worcestershire sauce flavoured varieties, which other brands have since replicated.‌However, some of the flavours fell out of favour and disappeared from British shelves. Until now! The British-based crisp manufacturer has revealed the return of two previously discontinued flavours – and one hasn't been spotted since 1990.‌Seabrook Crisps announces return of two nostalgic flavoursTaking to Facebook, the company announced: "SWEETCORN! LAMB and MINT! Sorry for shouting. We're just very excited. Get 'em both in Home Bargains right now."The post featured a photograph of the two varieties sitting on Home Bargains' shelves, priced at £1.19 for a five-pack multipack.The sweetcorn flavour, which was discontinued in 1990, comes in yellow classic striped packaging, while Lamb and Mint – which occasionally returns as a limited edition – is packaged in green.‌Scores of users flocked to the comments section to share their views, with several expressing doubts about sweetcorn-flavoured crisps, branding the concept as 'random'.However, one fan named Wayne was delighted: "Just had my first packet of the sweetcorn ones. It must [be] around 30 years since my last bag of Seabrook Sweetcorn, so I was eager to try them. In my opinion, they are a lovely flavour and I will certainly be buying more of them."‌Seabrook hit back at the doubters by pointing to Wayne's glowing review: "For everyone asking 'why sweetcorn', this comment from Wayne is why! Not everyone's cup of tea, we know – but people who loved them REALLY loved them, so we're chuffed we could bring 'em back for a limited edition run."The brand went on to say: "And if you're spinning out at the very idea of them – we reckon some of you might be surprised when you try them! Think buttery corn on the cob and you're in the right flavour ballpark."Plenty of shoppers were equally buzzing about the second returning flavour. One user wrote: "Shut the front door!
