But thankfully, weather conditions look set to improve next week.The GFS weather model shows potential 27C highs across eastern and south-eastern England on Tuesday, with most of central, southern and western England rising as high as 26C.While for Wednesday, the data shows temperatures could hit 28C in western and south-eastern parts of England, with 27C highs possible quite widely across central and southern areas.Temperature anomaly maps for next week show England and Wales shaded in areas of red and orange. This indicates that temperatures should rise above the seasonal average.In total, the GFS model maps show temperatures could rise to 27C or more in 24 counties. There is also potential for some “rather warm days”.The Met Office forecast for September 13 to 22 states: “Remaining changeable, with occasional rain or showers arriving from the North Atlantic, most frequent across northern and western parts of the UK, where some strong winds will also be possible at times.“However, there will also be some reasonable dry and more settled periods, especially across southern areas.
