Gloria Steinem transformed feminism but died 'mad as hell' that women still face the same issues

Gloria Steinem helped transform feminism from movement to reality in boardrooms, shop floors, legislatures and bedrooms around the world.

But when Steinem, who died on Sept. 2 at 92, was asked about her legacy in a February interview, she said, “I feel proud, and I feel mad as hell. We are still dealing with the same issues.”
