Independent Kansas health systems launch shared services organization

Five Kansas health systems have launched a regional collaboration, called Astra Health, to pool resources and coordinate services while retaining their independence.  | Astra Health's five founding members, who serve more than half a million patients annually, hope to improve quality and trim costs at scale while maintaining their independence.
