At least three people were killed and more than 10 injured after an ammunition storage facility exploded near Sarmada in north-west Syria.
The Syrian Defence Ministry confirmed the blast involved a temporary ammunition depot affiliated with the ministry, injuring several of its personnel.
Rescue efforts were severely hampered by ongoing secondary explosions, leaving some victims unreachable at the scene.
The explosion follows a similar incident days earlier in nearby Binnish, where an ammunition-laden vehicle killed at least five people.
