The main result of Ukrainian forces' operation in the Oleksandrivka sector is not the liberation of more than 745 square kilometers of territory and 26 settlements, but the fact that the enemy was unable to carry out its plans at the pace it had intended.

Serhii Kolesnychenko, a press officer of the 148th Zhytomyr Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"Active counteroffensive operations by an Air Assault Forces grouping are continuing in the Oleksandrivka sector. The officially confirmed figures remain unchanged: more than 745 square kilometers of territory and 26 settlements have been brought back under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. At the same time, it would not be entirely correct to assess the outcome of the operation solely by the area of liberated territory. The key result lies in the change in the operational situation in this sector and the impact on the enemy's ability to carry out its offensive plans," Kolesnychenko said.

According to him, during the operation, the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces inflicted significant losses on the enemy, complicated its operations and forced it to spend additional resources to hold its positions and restore lost ground.
