The country singer took to her Instagram Story to thank the track's co-writers.

Ella Langley is taking in another historic week for “Choosin’ Texas.”

The country star reacted to the song’s latest milestone on Tuesday (Sept. 8), reposting Billboard and Billboard Charts’ Instagram posts announcing the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated Sept. 12. “Choosin’ Texas” remains at No. 1 on the all-genre chart, marking its 21st week atop the tally.

“Unreal,” Langley wrote over the post on her Instagram Story, tagging the song’s co-writers Luke Dick, Miranda Lambert and Joybeth Taylor and adding a mind-blown emoji and a smiley face holding back tears.

The milestone puts “Choosin’ Texas” just one week away from tying the longest-running No. 1 in Hot 100 history. Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” currently holds the record with 22 weeks at No. 1 across multiple holiday seasons.
