A fourth suspect, a 26-year-old man, arrested in connection with the Reiger Park killings that claimed the lives of two women and two police officers will join three accused already before the court: Reagan Cheslin Collis, 23, Jamal Meyer, 24, and Elvino Levert Crafford, 27.
Four suspects linked to the shooting deaths of two women and two police officers in Reiger Park are expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, following the arrest of the fourth suspect by the Hawks.
The latest suspect, a 26-year-old man, was arrested on Friday during an intelligence-driven operation led by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation in Germiston, together with the Gauteng Tactical Response Team and Gauteng Provincial Anti-Gang Unit.
Hawks national spokesperson Colonel Katlego Mogale said the man was arrested for alleged possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
“Upon his arrest, the suspect was allegedly found in possession of a revolver, ammunition and two cellphones.”
