Nifty 50 is coming down in line with our expectation. The index is currently trading at 23,675, down 0.44 per cent. The advances/declines ratio is at 15:35. This is negative. More fall could be on the cards.Nifty 50 OutlookThe fall below 23,700 increases the downside pressure. Immediate resistance will be at 23,700. Above that, 23,750 is the next key intraday resistance. We expect the upside to be capped at 23,750 for now. Nifty can fall to 23,600 in the coming sessions.A strong break above 23,750 and a subsequent rise above 23,800 is needed to get some breather. But that looks less likely.Nifty 50 FuturesThe Nifty 50 September Futures (23,780) is down 0.37 per cent. The outlook remains negative. The contract can fall to 23,600 from here.Key resistances are at 23,820 and 23,870. We expect the contract to remain below 23,820 itself. The contract has to rise above 23,870 to ease the downside pressure.Trade StrategyYesterday we had suggested a positional trade to go short at 23,904. Hold on to the short positions.
