After all, it’s Week 1 of the NFL season and your team should still be in good shape. It wouldn’t be the start of the fantasy football season without waivers, though, and there are a lot of names here. Why? Just as I preach during draft time — shoot for upside! There are always the Jakobi Meyers types on waivers (yes, he’s in here), and you want to take shots on top-25 difference-makers. Not everyone listed has that kind of upside, and some deeper leagues need the Meyers and Keenan Allens, but you also might need a pure handcuff stash or two, or even a streamer to start the year. It’s all here!Oh, and yes, some of the usual waivers features — Worry Report, Power Up Players, Bait Loot, Junk Drop and more — will debut in Week 2 once we have actual performances in the books.Waiver wire running backs

Mike Washington, LV — Steps into bell-cow work if Ashton Jeanty is out. Has a shot for RB3/Flex value even if Jeanty is healthy.

Tyler Allgeier, ARI — Should be rostered everywhere. Jeremiyah Love isn’t a guarantee for Week 1, and even if Love plays, Allgeier has been a fringe RB3/Flex for three straight seasons.
