President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the development of the joint FREYJA anti-ballistic program and additional long-range strike capabilities for Ukraine will be discussed at an upcoming meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

According to Ukrinform, the Head of State announced this on Facebook.

“In the near future, there will be meetings with partners attended by states and companies involved in developing the joint FREYJA anti-ballistic program. We are also working to develop our additional deep-strike capabilities,” Zelensky said.

He said that the results of this work will be reviewed at a meeting of the Staff. The President also said that National Security and Defense Council Secretary Ihor Klymenko had reported on preparing the agenda for the Staff meeting.

“The NSDC Secretary is overseeing the implementation of decisions, and it is important that our previous decisions on countering Russian attack drones and accelerating the relevant production processes be 100 percent effective,” Zelensky stressed.
