Africa’s most powerful military unit has formally invited the People’s Liberation Army Air Force to participate in the El Alamein Airshow in Egypt.
In response, China will showcase a range of aircraft, including fighter jets, early warning aircraft, tankers, and helicopters.
The airshow, now in its second iteration, underscores Egypt’s strategic partnership with key allies, among which China plays a prominent role.
The airshow is set to take place at the El Alamein International Airport on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast, between the 8th and 10th of September.
In the airshow’s first iteration in 2024, China showcased an aircraft lineup that featured Y-20 transport aircraft and J-10 performance jets.
