MOSCOW, September 3. /TASS/. Russia’s fifth-generation Su-57E fighter jet, equipped with advanced weaponry, will be unveiled for the first time at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt, the state tech corporation Rostec reported.
"The Russian fifth-generation Su-57E fighter jet will be presented in its export configuration at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt, featuring radically new weaponry that has never before been demonstrated either in Russia or abroad. As part of the flight program, the aircraft will perform aerobatic maneuvers," Rostec said in a statement.
Rostec noted that the Su-57 is the flagship fighter of the Russian Air Force, with performance characteristics proven in real combat conditions. "Now this aircraft is also conquering export markets. Deliveries are already underway to foreign partners who fully understand the advantages of this aircraft. New variants of the fighter are becoming even more effective and formidable. In Egypt, we are presenting an export version with entirely new armament, on display for the first time," the state corporation stated.
Rostec emphasized that the fighter's distinguishing factors are its ability to avoid enemy detection systems, its exceptional maneuverability, and its wide range of applicable armaments.
