Last August concluded with a devastating blow to the world of entertainment. We seemed to lose one familiar face after another.
August seems to have the most unexpected deaths since the 2020s rolled in. On August 28, 2020, acclaimed American actor Chadwick Boseman’s death was announced after losing his battle with stage 4 colon cancer. The Black Panther star had kept his fight with disease a secret and his death stunned the entire world, including his cast mates in the iconic superhero fictionalstory, Kenyan-Mexican actor Lupita Nyong’o being among them.
August 27 came with the shocking announcement of “G-Bag na Jug (G Baga Jat)” hitmaker Stoopid Boy’s demise following 11 days of international stars also passing on. Hollywood lost “Heroes” and Nashville star Hayden Panettiere, country music icon Dolly Parton, Rocky Horror Picture Show star Tim Curry and legendary voice actor Peter Cullen.
