Hollywood actress Lupita Nyong’o has paid tribute to her late Black Panther co-star Chadwick Boseman on the sixth anniversary of his death.

Nyong’o remembered Boseman on the anniversary of his death, as it offered another moment to reflect on the late actor’s impact on her life and on that of his fans around the world.

Boseman, who played the iconic role of T’Challa in the Marvel film Black Panther, died in 2020 at the age of 43 after battling colon cancer.

Nyong’o, who played alongside him as Nakia, T’Challa’s love interest in Black Panther, said the scars of the loss remain deeply visible.
