Commander of the Third Army Corps, Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi, has refuted a Russian claim that Sviatohirsk in the Donetsk region had allegedly been captured, releasing a video filmed in the town center.

According to Ukrinform, the Third Army Corps reported this on Facebook and published the relevant video.

Biletskyi recorded a video address from the center of Sviatohirsk, with the Holy Dormition Sviatohirsk Lavra visible in the background.

“I want to address the Russian military and political leadership. Take off your clown noses and multicolored wigs. Don’t make fools of yourselves. The 60th Mechanized Brigade of the Third Army Corps has full control of the town. In fact, this is our rear area,” Biletskyi said.
