The city of Sviatohirsk in the eastern Donetsk region remains under Ukrainian control.
The Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Russian propaganda outlets continue to spread false reports about the alleged 'capture' of Sviatohirsk and are attempting to back them up with staged materials. In reality, Sviatohirsk remains under Ukrainian control," the statement said.

According to the administration, Volodymyr Rybalkin, head of the Sviatohirsk City Military Administration, who is currently in the city, said the situation there is extremely difficult. The front line is nearby, while Russian forces are relentlessly shelling Sviatohirsk, posing a constant threat to civilians and infrastructure.
