Women’s wellness brand Nua has raised $50 million in a Series C round of funding led by Peak XV & Filter Capital along with participation from existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures.

The funding round includes primary raise and secondaries offering partial exits to Kae Capital, Lightbox VC, and existing angel investors, a statement said.

Nua plans to deploy the capital towards its next phase of growth with a focus on brand building, expanding reach and distribution, and strengthening R&D.

Mumbai-headquartered Nua Founded was in 2017.

It says it serves over 3 million women and girls every month across categories including zero irritation period care, maternity care, and everyday intimate care.
