Night 2 of the Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday included the high-profile guest acting in a comedy and drama series categories and the limited series supporting actor and actress awards.
Creative Arts weekend — taking place ahead of the Primetime Emmys on Sept. 14 — saw more than 100 awards handed out over two days, mostly for below-the-line categories. Statues presented on Sunday include honors for costumes, editing, sound and cinematography, while Saturday’s show centered mostly on variety programming, reality and documentary/nonfiction. This also marks the first year that major acting prizes were included, as the limited series supporting actor and actress categories have previously been featured on the main Emmys telecast.
Shailene Woodley earned her first Emmy for guest drama actress on Sunday night, also earning the first-ever win for Paradise. The guest drama actor prize went to Ernest Harden Jr. for The Pitt. In the supporting actor and actress in a limited or anthology series or movie categories, David Harbour and Linda Cardellini respectively won Emmys.
Rob Reiner posthumously won the Emmy for guest comedy actor, attached to his appearance on The Bear season four. In the guest comedy actress category, Widow’s Bay‘s Betty Gilpin won.
