Soldiers from the Lasar's Group unmanned aerial systems unit of the National Guard of Ukraine have shown how they destroyed a rare Russian R-330Zh Zhitel electronic warfare system deep behind enemy lines.
According to Ukrinform, the unit announced this on Facebook and released footage of the combat operation.
"In the middle of summer, we hunted down an R-330Zh Zhitel automated jamming station. This equipment was mainly used against reconnaissance drones to prevent the Ukrainian Defense Forces from monitoring the area around Sievierodonetsk," the statement said.
Lasar's Group carried out the operation to destroy the electronic warfare system entirely on its own.
