U.S. President Donald Trump is firmly determined to see an end to the Russian-Ukrainian war and to focus on investing in business opportunities in Ukraine and the United States.
U.S. presidential representative Jared Kushner told this to reporters in Kyiv following another round of talks, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"President Trump always says, the harder it is, if it's worthy, you have to give it everything you have. And so he's very determined to see an end to this war, to see an end of the deaths, to see the rebuilding of the families, and to hopefully do what he loves doing the best, which is focusing on investing in business opportunities for the countries to become closer together, and hopefully that brings prosperity and opportunity to the people of Ukraine and the people of Europe," he said.

Kushner said he believes the sides must also determine how to create the conditions and arrangements needed for a long-term, durable peace that allows Ukraine to use the amazing bravery, ingenuity, and strength it has demonstrated in getting through the past several years of war.
