With participation from across over 30 countries and individual participants from over 60 countries from across the world, masterclasses, several panel sessions and B2B networking engagements, insightful paper presentations and speeches, the African Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) and Awards 2026, truly lived up to expectations.
Now in its 8th edition, the forum also lived up to its 2026 theme: ‘Africa Connects’.
For three days, September 2-4, 2026, it connected African tourism, travel and creative industries stakeholders in one room at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World, Polokwane, Limpopo Province, South Africa.
Of course, the gathering witnessed fruitful deliberations across an insightful panel of discussions, networking, deals and agreements signings, amid exciting side attractions like cultural performances, exhibition of craft and art and awards to deserving individuals and organisations.
Kwakye Donkor, CEO, African Tourism Partners (ATP), the organisers of the forum, did not hide his excitement on how the Limpopo Province has been a good host, while appreciating the support of the Premier, the MEC and the Limpopo Tourism Agency.
