So when Hot Wheels Infinite Rush was announced at the 2026 Summer Game Fest showcase, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.And now, having spent nearly 15 hours playing it on my PS5 Slim, it's everything I'd imagined and more. Hot Wheels Infinite Rush takes a different approach to the franchise — it's gotten the open-world treatment akin to the Forza Horizon games. You're not bound to just races anymore. There are plenty of side quests to do, objects to destroy, and rival cars to claim as your own.As someone who's not the biggest fan of racing games, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush has me hooked, and it scratches an itch that Forza Horizon can't.
