Hull City maintained their unbeaten start to the Premier League season after holding Aston Villa to a goalless draw at the MKM Stadium on Saturday.
The 0-0 draw extended Hull’s run without conceding a league goal to three matches, while Villa’s difficult start continued as Unai Emery’s side are yet to score in the Premier League this season.
Hull came closest to breaking the deadlock in the second half when Mohamed Belloumi’s curling effort struck the crossbar.
Villa also had a clear opportunity to claim the points, but Emiliano Buendía missed from close range after being set up by George Hemmings.
Despite Villa’s attempts to take control, Hull’s defence remained resolute and secured another clean sheet to preserve the club’s remarkable start following their return to the top flight.
