Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan has moved to end speculation over Paul Onuachu’s future by insisting the Super Eagles striker will not be leaving the Turkish club this summer.
The statement comes amid reports linking the forward with a move to Saudi Arabia, as well as Trabzonspor’s own interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison.
The 32-year-old attracted attention following a prolific 2025/26 campaign in which he scored 26 goals in all competitions, including 22 in the Turkish Super Lig, a return that saw him share the league’s Golden Boot with Istanbul Basaksehir forward Eldor Shomurodov.
Despite the impressive campaign, rumours of a departure persisted through the summer, and speculation intensified once the major European transfer window closed while the Saudi Pro League and Turkish Super Lig windows remained open.
However, Dogan insisted the club have no plans to sell their striker. Related News UCL: Osimhen absent as Galatasaray unveils starting XI against Sporting Sani seals surprise Saudi move after Leipzig exit Abiodun heartbroken after season-ending injury
