The sweet moment came during Friday's (September 4) episode of the BBC programme, which saw Alex and co-star Clara Amfo take to the famous sofa together.‌Radio presenter Sara Cox joined them to chat about her upcoming appearance at Radio 2 in the Park and how she has been settling into her new morning show on BBC Radio 2. Sara recently took on the coveted breakfast show role and has now been behind the microphone for two months.‌At the time, the 51-year-old, who replaced Scott Mills, said she was "ecstatic, honoured and incredibly chuffed" to be taking over the station's flagship show."It's been a dream to host the breakfast show since I joined Radio 2 and it feels like a bit of a full circle for me," she added.‌It didn’t take long for conversation to turn to her new role and Alex was quick to congratulate her. "Now we have to talk about The Breakfast Show, congratulations.” She then asked Sara: "How does it feel because you've been doing it for two months now?"Sara admitted she was loving every minute of her new job and described it as "the best job in the world". She said: "It feels incredible, it's just the best job in the world and I just absolutely love it."Sara went on to praise the show's listeners and music before revealing just how much fun she was having behind the microphone.‌"Brilliant listeners, excellent music, and some lovely guests. It's an absolute dream job," she said. "I spend the first few hours of my day genuinely laughing, jumping about and being daft."But it was Sara's excitement about the role that appeared to get Alex emotional. Looking at Sara, Alex said: "Seeing your little face nearly makes me cry, honestly." Clara then joined in with her own sweet observation, telling Sara: "That's the thing.
