The All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, on Friday, formally unveiled its governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly candidates for the 2027 general elections, with Senator Sharafadeen Alli as the party’s governorship candidate.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony held at the state APC Secretariat, Oke-Ado, in Ibadan, the state capital, Senator Alli expressed gratitude to God Almighty, President Bola Tinubu, party leaders and members for considering him as the party’s standard-bearer.
Alli, who currently represents Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, said, “Those who contested the governorship ticket alongside me should not be regarded as opponents but as brothers and critical stakeholders in the collective struggle for the party’s victory.”
He stressed the need for unity among members, warning against division and internal disagreements ahead of the 2027 general elections.
