The recall covers one lot of Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend, an expansion of a broader outbreak investigation tied to a Chilean supplier

Walmart $WMT is recalling one lot of Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend sold across 16 states because of potential contamination with Escherichia coli O145:H28, according to the FDA.

The recall, announced September 2 by Chilean supplier Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A., covers 10-ounce bags of Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend containing strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries with UPC 7874211226, lot code 6040 01-6, and a best-if-used-by date of February 9, 2028. The affected product was shipped to Walmart stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin, the FDA said. No illnesses have been linked to this specific product.
