It is a demonstration of what is possible and how prepared we are whenever the market moves in that direction," he said.Atul Sood, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kia India said that the automaker is only displaying that the technology option for E20-E100 is available with the Syros SUV and so if needed, they have it ready for adoption.Kuppili said the approach was less about committing to a particular powertrain today and more about having the engineering capability ready when market conditions require it."It's about having the capability ready and adapting it the moment the market calls for it. And that's the strength of a multi-powertrain approach," he said.Kia's E20 readiness comes as the company expands its choices in India, including the introduction of the Sorento hybrid, while continuing to develop CNG and electric offerings.The automaker sees multiple technologies playing a role in India's transition to cleaner mobility rather than relying on a single powertrain.
