Finland-founded smart ring maker Oura has filed for a US initial public offering, after relocating its parent company to the US earlier this year.

The company’s smart rings have grown in popularity in recent years, as people look to track metrics such as sleep, health and fitness using a device less bulky than a smart watch.

Oura recorded $1.4 billion (£1bn) in revenue and $59m in net income in the one-year period to June 2026, the company said in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange commission on Thursday.
