Lagos tasks NSCDC to intensify security in schools

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund has urged the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps to intensify the protection of schools and critical infrastructure across the state.

This was contained in a statement made available to PUNCH Metro on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the Executive Secretary of the LSSTF, Dr Ayodele Ogunsan, made the call on Wednesday during his visit to the Lagos State Command of the NSCDC.

Ogunsan also presented 30 ballistic helmets, 30 bulletproof vests and 100 raincoats to the command to strengthen the operational capacity of its personnel.
