FC Barcelona is projecting €1.075 billion in ordinary revenue for the 2025/26 season, which would make it the first time the club has officially cleared the €1 billion mark.
How Barcelona built its billion-euro machine
The foundation for this milestone was laid during the 2024-25 season, when Barcelona posted operating revenue of €994 million, according to the club’s October 2025 financial presentation. That figure represented a €100 million jump from the prior year, which is especially notable given that the team wasn’t even playing in its own stadium.
Barcelona has been hosting home matches at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, the Montjuïc venue originally built for the 1992 Olympics, while the iconic Camp Nou undergoes a massive renovation.
Commercial revenue hit a record €259 million in 2024-25, anchored by a renegotiated multi-year kit deal with Nike. Barça Licensing & Merchandising, the club’s commercial arm known as BLM, saw revenue surge 55% to approximately €171 million across more than 170 territories worldwide.
