Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha expects “new momentum” in negotiations to end the Russia-Ukrainia war as a new political season begins in many world capitals.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister said this at a joint press conference with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, in Kyiv, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

“There have been neither holidays nor pauses in Ukraine – we are fighting for our land and for a just peace. And now, I believe, we will see new momentum in peace efforts as this active political and diplomatic phase resumes in many world capitals,” the Minister said.

According to Sybiha, diplomacy must play an increasingly active role in peace efforts.

“It is unrealistic to achieve this without the involvement of the American side – these are the geopolitical realities,” Sybiha noted.
