Sep 3, 2026 – 10.07pmThe government has moved to cancel a graduate diploma offered to international students by hundreds of Australian providers over suspicions it is being exploited by non-genuine visa holders, in the first use of ministerial powers designed to crack down on education programs with systemic red flags.More than 40,000 international students are either studying the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) or scheduled to start. Under the cancellation, current students will be able to continue their studies, but providers will no longer be able to recruit fresh international students into the course.
