Former All Blacks player Lima Sopoaga gets a taste of Cape Town with a masala steak gatsby

Lima Sopoaga went to Golden Dish in Athlone to have a masala steak gatsby for the first time.

Former All Blacks player Lima Sopoaga was in Cape Town when the All Blacks took on the Springboks in the second Test of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry at DHL Stadium on Saturday.

But while the rugby was the main reason for his visit, Sopoaga also made time to experience a very different side of Cape Town.

He went in search of a gatsby.

And not just any gatsby. The former All Black headed to Golden Dish in Athlone to try a masala steak gatsby, giving him a taste of one of the Mother City’s best-known local dishes.
