Binance Alpha expanded its token roster on September 2 with the addition of PONS and FLORK, and both listings wasted no time making an impression. PONS, the native token of the Pons launchpad built on Robinhood Chain, climbed more than 21% within 24 hours and hit a market cap of roughly $364 million. FLORK, a meme coin inspired by the “Flork of Cows” webcomic, did even better in percentage terms, ripping more than 190% intraday before cooling off.

PONS: launchpad token finds its footing

PONS functions as the core token for the Pons launchpad, a non-custodial platform operating on Robinhood Chain, which itself went live on July 1. The launchpad captures value through transaction fees, channeling a portion into buybacks and token burns. PONS reached an all-time high price near $0.515 shortly after trading opened, pushing its market cap past $360 million.

FLORK: meme coin, meme numbers

FLORK draws its identity from the “Flork of Cows” webcomic, a series of deliberately crude stick-figure comics that became a meme staple across social media. The token trades on multiple blockchain networks, including Binance Smart Chain, and its listing on Binance Alpha gave it a visibility boost that translated into eye-popping returns. The token’s market cap briefly topped $17 million during the intraday surge of more than 190%, before settling around $15.2 million.
