Residents and business owners in Arigbawo Community, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, have lamented months of poor electricity supply, saying the situation has disrupted businesses and increased household expenses.

The residents, who spoke to PUNCH Metro on Tuesday, said electricity supply in the community had become increasingly irregular, with power sometimes unavailable for weeks or months before being restored for only a few hours.

They said the situation had forced many residents and business owners to rely on alternative sources of power, including generators and solar energy.

The residents also said the prolonged power outages had prompted some people to consider leaving the community, noting that reliable electricity was one of the factors that initially attracted many residents to the area.
