HBM Nigeria Plc has inaugurated a high-capacity Compressed Natural Gas station at its Mfamosing Plant in the Akamkpa Local Government of Cross River State.
HBM, formerly Lafarge Africa Plc, is a leading Nigerian building-solution company and a member of the Huaxin Building Materials Group.
Listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited, the company has cement manufacturing operations in Ogun, Gombe and Cross River states, with Ready-Mix operations in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
The facility in Cross River State was officially unveiled on August 31, 2026, with dignitaries including government officials, community leaders and transport partners in attendance.
