The fire at a Polish drone factory supplying weapons to Ukraine was "deliberate arson," and Russia is likely behind the attack, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a cabinet meeting Wednesday.
WB Electronics, where the fire broke out on Monday morning, is one of Poland’s largest private defense companies. It produces reconnaissance drones and loitering munitions, including FlyEye and Warmate, used by Ukraine against Russian forces. The fire was soon extinguished, leaving no casualties, Polish radio reported.
“This is a continuation of Russia’s escalatory actions throughout the region,” the Polish leader said, adding that "unfortunately, these are not the first cases and, even worse, they certainly won’t be the last."
