Polish law enforcement and intelligence services are investigating a fire that broke out overnight at a WB Electronics facility that manufactures components for unmanned systems, with arson not being ruled out as a possible cause.

Ukrinform reports this, citing the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship police and Jacek Dobrzyński, spokesman for the Polish minister-coordinator for special services, in posts on X.

“We are investigating the circumstances of the overnight fire that broke out on the premises of a private company in Skarżysko-Kamienna,” police said.

According to law enforcement officials, around midnight, a security company operator notified emergency services after an alarm was triggered at the facility. The call concerned a building located near a warehouse where electronic components were stored. It was confirmed that a fire had broken out inside the building.

No one was injured, but the fire destroyed one of the facility’s premises. After the blaze was extinguished, police launched an investigation to establish all the circumstances of the incident. The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the district prosecutor’s office in Skarżysko-Kamienna.
