The Adilabad district police arrested an inter-State cybercriminal who allegedly cheated people through Instagram on the pretext of selling mobile spare parts and accessories.The accused, Prakash Kumar, 22, of Kilwa village in Rajasthan’s Jalore district, allegedly cheated around 140 victims in 19 States, including Telangana, of ₹5.30 crore, police said.Kumar was arrested based on a complaint by a mobile shop owner of Ichoda mandal, who alleged that he was cheated of ₹2.18 lakh.The police traced the accused using technical and cyber investigation and seized two mobile phones and ₹1 lakh cash from him.
