ALBAWABA - The U.S. attack hit a wedding ceremony in Sirik city in Iran on Tuesday night, killing five people, including one child, and injuring others, Iranian media outlets reported Tuesday night.The deputy political and security officer of the Hormozgan governorate said that the number of people killed in the American strike on Sept. 1 targeting a wedding ceremony in Sirik has increased to five.According to Tasnim News Agency, Ahmad Nafisi, the deputy governor of Hormozgan for politics, security and society, announced that the wedding ceremony was taking place in the city of Kohstak, Sirik County, before it was targeted by Washington.Nafisi said, "A child is also among the martyrs of this crime."The deputy governor of Hormozgan, who is responsible for politics, security and society, condemned the attack and said: "Further details of the incident and the condition of the injured will be announced after the completion of the investigations."Moreover, videos from the U.S. attack on the wedding ceremony were shared on social media, showing first responders transporting the injured to hospitals and attempting to put out the blaze that erupted. On Wednesday, the Hormozgan Red Crescent shared morning footage showing damaged buildings and said it was the aftermath of the American attack that hit a wedding ceremony. The Hormozgan Red Crescent posted the clip and wrote, "A Document of America’s Crime in the Attack on Residential Areas / The Scope of the U.S. Army’s Attack on a Wedding Ceremony in Sirik."According to a report from the Hormozgan Province Red Crescent Society, "most of the injured were women and children."
