The 31-year-old was rushed to hospital where she died from "severe injuries," the Bavarian Police said.Rachel, landlady at the White Swan pub in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire, had been on her way to a funeral in Austria.Officers arrested a 27-year-old German man near the station shortly after the attack. He has been detained in a psychiatric hospital on suspicion of murder as police continue to investigate.Richard Shuffill, 82, vice-chairman of the parish council in Whitchurch, said Rachel had been "like a breath of fresh air" at the pub."Becca had only been here a couple of years but she was like a breath of fresh air and turned The Swan around," he said."It's the only pub in the village but she threw herself into her work to make it the centre of the community. It was impossible not to like her. She was always pleasant and friendly. No one can believe what’s happened and she will be terribly missed."Her death has come as a real shock and it's a huge loss to our community. I only saw her Saturday lunchtime and then 12 hours later - bless her - she is no longer with us."Floral tributes were placed outside the pub where Rachel, a keen runner and horsewoman, held charity events - most recently to support a fundraiser for a seriously ill girl in the community.One described Rachel as "such a caring person that will go out her way for others." Another said: "Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel."A third tribute said Rachel "was an old soul and everyone in our local always felt safe and secure, and she turned the local around to modernise it but also keep it a welcoming safe space for our community."A true professional in hospitality with grace and dignity. [She] was so tolerant and non-judgmental.
