The defense agreement signed with Israel will make a difference if it leads to the creation of a domestic ecosystem for research and production of weapon systems in Greece.
In the past, time and money were wasted on nonexistent offset agreements or joint productions without added value. We need to make huge steps forward in this sector and Monday’s agreement is a great opportunity, as long as it does not fall prey to the “vultures” of the sector, and new businesses that are already distinguished abroad are also involved.
