Germany will take a number of measures in response to the sabotage operation at Leipzig Airport, which German politicians and intelligence services believe was orchestrated by Russia.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul announced the measures on September 1, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“The Russian Consulate General in Bonn will cease operations by September 18, and the agreement governing the activities of the Russian House in Berlin will be terminated. In addition, tighter entry requirements will be introduced for Russian citizens, and further measures will be taken against Russia’s shadow fleet,” Wadephul said.
