Twenty-five years ago, Chanel Beauty launched the original Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, a patchouli scent that lingers on your skin. In August, the house debuted Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, a scent that captures the DNA of the OG signature scent but has more grapefruit and lychee notes to contrast with the vanilla and vetiver. I wore it to dinner and someone stopped me in my tracks to ask what it was. If you’re not quite ready to blind-buy your next fragrance, for two weekends this month, between September 11 and 13 and 18 and 20, you can test-drive the fragrance in real life at a café-inspired immersive scent pop-up.
