Ripple and SettleMint have partnered to create a single infrastructure solution for regulated institutions seeking to issue, custody and manage tokenized assets, combining Ripple’s custody technology with SettleMint’s lifecycle-management platform.

The integrated offering pairs Ripple Custody with SettleMint’s DALP, or Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform. The companies are positioning the solution as a way for banks and other regulated entities to manage digital assets from issuance through settlement and servicing without relying on separate vendors for each stage.

Ripple Custody is designed to provide institutional-grade security and governance for digital assets, stablecoins and real-world assets. Ripple has strengthened the platform over the past year with partnerships involving Securosys and Figment, a Chainalysis integration and the acquisition of Palisade, which the company says has helped simplify digital asset custody procurement for financial institutions and corporations.

SettleMint’s DALP provides a broader lifecycle-management layer. The platform is designed for regulated financial institutions, market infrastructure operators and sovereign entities, and is already being deployed across production and pre-production projects in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
